Festival Village opens at 7:00am

First wave released at 8:30am (There are no set waves. All you need to do is turn up, head to the starting arch and you’ll be sent off )

Last chance to enter the course at 10:00am

Event concludes at 12:30pm

After you have made your way through the incredible 5K course and cross our finish line you’ll want to stick around in The Village and enjoy all the fun!

The Village is the Festival Hub, where you will have access to all the stage entertainment, sponsored activations (aka FREEBIES on offer) and delicious food and drinks!

This will be the time where you can either lay back on the grass and relax with friends and family or party on down to the family-friendly color mosh pit!

You will need to collect your t-shirt, headband, race bib and other goodies from our Packet Pick Up PRIOR to EVENT DAY.
Please note:
All prepaid merchandise must be picked up from the prepaid line at the Merchandise tent on Race day, or from our, Flemington Pre Pick Up location.

Date: Fri 22 Nov 8am to 6:30 pm / Sat 23 Nov 10am to 4:30 pm

– Enter via MAIN GATE OFF Epsom Road.
– Proceed directly straight following the coloured lines on the road until you reach the Color Run flags on your right-hand side.
– Free Parking is available.

Can’t attend Packet Pick Up?

Get your Packet sent to you pre-event. Simply log onto your active portal at and select Packet Delivery ($12.95 per kit) Postage is PER PERSON, this means those who have purchased family tickets still must pay per person. Please note Packet Delivery must be ordered before 11 November. This is to ensure all packs arrive in time!

If you are planning to drive we strongly encourage all Color Runners to share a ride with their mates and carpool. 

Better yet, try to be dropped off and picked up by friends or family and avoid the hassle of parking!

Parking is available onsite for $20 per car.
Please enter off Epsom Road onto Flemington Drive.

Please note Hill Road Gates and Leonard Crescent entry will be for pedestrian access only.

Just because you’re sick doesn’t mean you stop being a kid. And it shouldn’t mean missing out on all the fun of childhood. So Starlight helps sick kids simply be kids. We replace pain, fear and stress with fun, joy and laughter.

We know there’s more to treating an illness than just medicine, that’s why we work hand in hand with health professionals. Play, art, games and creativity are all important to a child’s wellbeing and that helps overall health too. Fun, happy experiences are good for the mind and good for the body. (And fun is what we do best!)

Not only are we home-grown, Starlight is also the broadest reaching children’s charity in Australia. Last year we created over 574,874 Starlight experiences for sick kids and their families. We support kids of all ages, regardless of their illness or injury. From Captain Starlight and the Starlight Express Rooms to Livewire and our Healthier Futures Initiative, Starlight helps brighten the lives of sick kids everywhere across Australia.
